Abstract

A double parasitism (isopod Cymothoidae and copepod Pennellidae) on black-barred halfbeak fish

Hemiramphus far

was recorded from Pazhayar coastal waters (southeast coast of India) during September 2008. This is the first report from this region and the infection is discussed in relation to environmental and biological parameters.
