Electrochemical study on corrosion behaviour of steels in sand with water
摘要
Abstract
Electrochemical measurements to investigate steel corrosion in sands cell with pore water for this simulation study on embedded-in-concrete steel in seawater showed that the steel corrosion was controlled by oxygen reduction; that water content and sand granularity could affect the corrosion behavior greatly; that with increasing sands cell water content from dry condition
the corrosion rate first increased
and then decreased
maximizing at about 6 g per 50 g sand. The probable mechanism is discussed.
