摘要
Abstract
Eucheuma gelatinae (Esper) J. Agardh has vegetative and reproductive features distinguishing it from other species ofEucheuma. The occurrence of reproductive nemathecia containing carpogonial branches
auxiliary cells and post-fertilization stages including gonimoblast and pericarp initiation
fusion cell formation stages and carposporophyte development are described and ilustrated for the first time for this species.
