from China Seas (Annelida:Ampharetidae) deposited in the collections of the Marine Biological Museum of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (MBMCAS) is reviewed and previous identifications reassessed. In total

four species were found among all specimens examined. Material previously attributed to

A. acutifrons

had been misidentified and is now confirmed as belonging to
