   Journal of Oceanology and Limnology (JOL) (formerly Chinese Journal of Oceanology and Limnology (CJOL)) was established in 1982 under the auspices of Chinese Society for Oceanology and Limnology and managed by Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is an international peer-reviewed bimonthly journal and co-published by Science Press, China, and Springer.  JOL aims to disseminate original knowledge, promote interdisciplinary academic exchange, and stress practical applications of achievements. JOL welcomes high-quality articles on aspects of oceanology (oceanography) and limnology from all over the world.
